India and Egypt to promote trade and investment, fight terrorism

NEW DELHI (AP) — India and Egypt on Wednesday decided to boost trade between the two countries during a visit by the president of Egypt, which underscored Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to strengthen ties with other emerging economies. Agreed.

Prime Minister Modi and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi have agreed on measures to increase two-way trade to $12 billion within five years. Total trade in 2021-22 he was $7.3 billion.
